Ladies Often Overlooked Health Care
Our bodies are made up of hormones that all play a vital role in our bodily functions. When these are out of balance, it can cause minor ailments to much more serious dis-ease.
‘What we put on our skin is very important as it is the largest organ of the body & is semi-permeable, meaning it absorbs what you put on it.’
If you would not put it in your body, why put it on your body?
This is a rule of thumb I live by; I won’t put anything on my body that I wouldn’t eat.Cold pressed organic coconut oil is anti-microbial, anti-bacterial & is completely natural.
Coconut oil is not only moisturising, it isn’t thick like other oils. Meaning it won’t clog pores & it can reduce scarring, stretch marks & redness in under arms & the groin area. if you’re a fluffy girl like me you’’ll know exactly what I’m talking about!
‘I apply it to wet skin after bathing & showering & then towel dry so I am nicely oiled but not greasy.’
If you suffer from BV (bacteria vaginosis), that fishy smell that is often misinterpreted as being dirty, coconut oil can help as it balances the microbiome down there!
You can use it inside your vagina & outside to balance the bacteria that cause that fishy odour.
I also use it as a natural toxin-free anti-perspirant. As it balances the bacteria it prevents the growth of bacteria which is what causes that smell! Sweat doesn't smell, its the bacteria that builds up that smells.
Here are a few other things coconut oil is great for…
oil pulling: minimise plaque build up & mouth bacteria that causes tooth decay;
removing make up, great for mascara removal! I put some on my finger & gently rub then use an organic cotton pad to wipe off;
non-toxic candles & skincare;
overnight hair treatment (heating it GENTLY makes it extra lushous!);
cooking with it, (it has a high smoke point so won’t change & become carcinogenic at high temperatures);
wood oil & polish, such as chopping boards, solid wood worktops & furniture;
cuts & wounds as it promotes healing & is anti-bacterial;
**Do not use if you have an allergy to nuts.**
I always use Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil which hasn’t been heated & had enzymes & its health properties destroyed in the process.
I buy mine from Lidl or Aldi which is only £1.99 for 250ml or I buy a kilo here, which I use when making non-toxic candles & skincare.
Organic Toxin Free Sanitary Wear
The vulva is an extremely sensitive & porous delicate skin area.
Using tampons & sanitary wear can be harmful to health as they contain chemicals, so I opt for Organic Bamboo Pads to minimise exposure to toxins.
Here are the ones I use here.
Stagnant Toxins
‘Loose fitting clothing is important for the flow of lymph.’
Wearing non-toxic materials is important to health. Since we have underwear next to our breasts & groin area. When we sweat & are out in the sunshine, plastics in our clothes are heated up & absorbed into the skin which affect hormones. the endocrine system & can cause some cancers.
Since clothes these days are mainly made of plastics, such as acrylic, nylon & polyester it is a good idea to invest in your health & source organic cotton, linen & wool clothing for everyday wear. I will be sourcing a toxic free clothing range in the future so do subscribe for future updates.
Organic cotton resonates at the frequency of 100hz. Non-organic is much lower. Linen & pure wool resonate at 5000hz which is 50 times the frequency of the human body.
Linen sheets were used in old hospitals as they were aware of their healing properties.
Cotton & linen should not be worn together as they cancel each other out.
‘We have lymph nodes under our arms & in our groin area so it is important to walk & move every day to stimulate toxin removal.’
